Description

In his next Telugu film, Yevadu (2014), directed by Vamsi Paidipally, he plays two characters, one who has received a face transplant of the other and becomes the target of underworld gangs because of the mistaken identity. Bangalore Mirror wrote: "For Ram Charan, Yevadu is essential to establish his status after Thoofan tanked at the box office. His character has two shades and he tries his best to bring variations. He dances like there is no tomorrow and the choreography is a delight to watch."[21] Sify wrote: "Compared to his earlier films – Nayak and Thoofan, Ram Charan has done a fairly good job here. His acting is effective in intense scenes and action episode. To satisfy his audiences, he has also done some good steps in the Freedom song. Charan's next release in the same year was the family drama Govindudu Andarivadele. The film opened to mostly positive reviews from critics and grossed over ₹40 crore (US$5.6 million) at the box office.

His next film was Bruce Lee where he played the role of a stuntman who gets involved in a scuffle. It wasn't a success due to its weak narration and comedy. His next film Dhruva (2016) was declared a hit due to its unique story and visuals. Times of India wrote: "Ram Charan looks his fittest best. As an actor, Ram Charan impresses in all the scenes that required high emotion. And as for the scenes where he had to be elevated as the hero, they will not disappoint his fans 2018, he acted in the blockbuster Rangasthalam directed by Sukumar, which was the biggest in-Baahubali hit ever.

In 2010, Balakrishna acted in Boyapati Srinu's film Simha, alongside Nayantara and Sneha Ullal. He played a dual role as father and son. The film opened to positive reviews,[35] and went on to become the highest-grossing film of the year.[36] A review in Rediff said about his performance: "Balakrishna has put in a restrained performance. Though his character is supposed to roar at times, he seems subdued most of the time. But he's given plenty to be pleased about as it is his show all the way. In 2011, he acted in a mythological film Sri Rama Rajyam, based on the epic Ramayana. He played a triple role in the 2012 action drama Adhinayakudu, making him the first actor to play three different roles as a grandfather, father, and grandson on the big screen.[6] In 2014, he acted in Boyapati Srinu's film Legend, alongside Sonal Chauhan and Jagapati Babu. He played the title role in the biographical and historical film Gautamiputra Satakarni, his 100th film. The film is directed by Krish and is based on the life of the 2nd-century ruler of the Satavahana Empire, Gautamiputra Satakarni.[7] In 2018, he acted in Jai Simha movie, which was directed by K. S. Ravikumar. In 2019, he will act in the NTR biopic in which he will be representing NTR himself.

Following his last film in the lead role, 2007's Shankar Dada Zindabad, which received an average response, Chiranjeevi did not star in any film for approximately 10 years, during which he embarked on his political career. During these 10 years, he has made only two cameo appearances in films starring his son Ram Charan: Magadheera in 2009 and Bruce Lee – The Fighter in 2015. He also served as narrator to both Varudu and Rudhramadevi. From 2013 onwards, he was on the lookout for the right script to mark his comeback into cinema, in what would coincidentally happen to be his 150th film as an actor. A year following the release of the highly successful 2014 Tamil film Kaththi, Chiranjeevi chose to remake that film in Telugu as his comeback film. The remake, titled Khaidi No. 150, directed by V. V. Vinayak, was released during the Sankranti holiday in 2017, about 6 months short of a decade following Shankar Dada Zindabad, to positive reviews and record-breaking box-office revenue. Critics have singled out Chiranjeevi in particular, praising him for both his performance and appearance, especially following a decade of absence from a cinema. His next film will be a biopic on Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy and is titled Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which is directed by Surender Reddy. It will be released on Sankranti in 201
